Professor Simon Shimshon Rubin:
With over four decades of experience in research theoretical work, and clinical practice recommendations, Simon Shimshon Rubin is Professor Emeritus at the University of Haifa’s School of Psychological Sciences. He is also Professor of Psychology at the Max Stern Emek Yezreel College. An eminent clinician and researcher, he is uniquely qualified to lead the International Laboratory for the Study of Loss and Bereavement. Working with colleagues and students from Israel and abroad, Professor Rubin and the staff and affiliates at the lab strive to make a difference to those affected by loss and bereavement. Professor Rubin is also the Chairman of the Zramim Postgraduate Psychotherapy Program at the University of Haifa.
Dr. Ruth Malkinson – Director of Training: a preeminent scholar, clinician, and researcher in Social Work and Bereavement, is responsible for development of direct intervention.
